Sub Bottom Profile Survey

EMU Limited’s Geosurvey Department possess many years of experience in the acquisition and processing of sub bottom datasets to a wide range of clients across many offshore sectors. Depending on the client’s requirements and site geology, various seismic sources can be used to ensure the best results for the intended purpose; this includes offshore construction and site monitoring purposes.

The principal seismic sources used within EMU are; air guns, boomer (Applied Acoustics AA201), pinger (SES Digital Transmitter) or sparker (Applied Acoustics Squid 500). EMU is also able to operate any other system as required.

The resulting seismic data is interpreted by our experienced team of marine geophysicists and presented to the client using a tailored suite of deliverables. By analysing this data alongside outputs from other geophysical instrumentation we can provide a complete description of the marine geological environment. EMU also offers a complete package of geotechnical services which can be used to ground truth results from the seismic survey.
