EMU has a long established history of EIA for coastal and marine developments and more recently has responded to the changing needs of industry sectors and regulators through design and implementation of marine regional environmental assessments and regional characterisations. We were the first company to complete Regional Characterisation (REC) for the offshore aggregates industry (Thames Estuary); and are undertaking 2 of the 3 ongoing Regional Environmental Assessments (REAs) in the UK.
