EMU operates a Quality Management System that meets the requirements of the International Standard BS EN ISO 9001:2008. We apply this standard as an integral part of all our business activities to ensure we meet the needs of our customers and continually improve our services.

- UKAS accredited ISO/IEC 17025:2005
EMU’s Quality Management system also meets the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2005 ‘General Requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories’. As a minimum, we apply this standard to activities in our Microbiological and Sediment laboratories as specified in our Schedule of Accreditation.
