"substantial experience in development-led and strategic maritime archaeological projects"

EMU Limited has a number of leading international and UK specialists in Maritime Archaeology. The Section provides a wide range of archaeological services related to projects targeting inland, coastal and offshore waters.

The Maritime Archaeology Section professional staff are highly skilled and experienced in development-led and strategic maritime archaeological projects. Add to this their strong individual backgrounds in offshore survey and international underwater heritage management, and EMU’s Maritime Archaeology team is uniquely placed to provide the best possible archaeological advice and deliverables to the marine sector.

The Maritime Archaeology Section is able to draw on EMU’s extensive existing infrastructure – staff; technical support and expertise in geophysical surveying and data processing; geotechnical processing and assessment; and equipment and vessels - to support its work. These in-house synergies can be translated into project efficiencies that will benefit clients.

EMU Archaeology is available to work across both the public and private sectors. It can provide maritime archaeological services to the full range of marine and offshore development sectors, including renewable energy, marine aggregates, oil and gas, and ports and harbours.
