FEATURES - Wind Development Company Contract Environmental and Operational Constraints Assessment Apr 2007

EMU has been contracted by a wind development company in order to conduct an environmental and operational constraints assessment through a rigorous scoping review. This was undertaken in order to finalise the boundaries of a proposed wind farm development in the Wash region.

The Project comprised the following tasks:

  • Task 1 - Desk Based Review
  • Task 2 - Additional studies and Data collection
  • Task 3 - Final Review and Site Recommendation

This study resulted in EMU identifying the most appropriate site in terms of physical, biological and human environmental requirements, which was in turn selected by the company to develop their wind farm.
