Assessment of Coastal and Marine Projects

ShoreIdentification and Management of Environmentally Sensitive Areas

We analyse ecological, hydrological and other scientific data to help identify potential sites destined to be designated as protected areas under national and international legislation for competent authorities to assist them to establish networks of protected sites. We offer advice on the interpretation of site selection criteria and on the development of guidelines to aid manage protected areas. We can also design and manage monitoring programmes intended to help assess the impacts of protected areas on the physical, biological and human environment.
