HEALTH AND SAFETY
As a company, the Board of Emu Limited is committed to comply with the responsibilities as laid down in the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and subordinate legislation to provide, so far as is reasonably practicable, for the health, safety and welfare at work of all its employees and other persons who may be affected by the company's activities.
To achieve this commitment the company maintains a Health and Safety Management System based on the HSE's guide to Successful Health and Safety Management (HSG65).
Policy Statement
Although it is every employee's responsibility to comply with health and safety legislation, the overall responsibility for the company rests with the Managing Direction, which is demonstrated in the Health, Safety and Welfare Policy Statement
