The coastal and offshore marine environment is a highly complex and changeable zone. Standard approaches to its study may not always provide sufficient information for either developers or regulators. EMU Limited is therefore committed to advancing knowledge of the marine environment through an investment in Research and Development across all branches of the company.
EMU has recently invested in new survey and research vessels capable of operating 24 hours a day and has developed a range of modern, innovative approaches to data gathering in the marine environment. EMU scientists have developed several new approaches to the integration of multidisciplinary data sets, including linking geophysical and biological surveys, environmental, archaeological and socio-economic assessments.
EMU is also committed to offering added value to clients by public dissemination of research findings across a range of mediums including National and International Conferences and peer-reviewed scientific journals.
